Welcome
to DTI White Matter Atlas
In this site, our white matter atlases can be downloaded. We have several different versions of white matter atlases. For detailed descriptions of these atlases, please see here . **Important Notice:** You can download the atlases described below from this site. However, recently we developed new software programs called DiffeoMap and RoiEditor. These programs come with all the atlases introduced in this page. They also allow you to normalize your data to one of our atlases (DiffeoMap) and perform atlas-based quantitative analyses (RoiEditor). Rather than downloading the atlases individually from this site, I encourage you to use www.mristudio.org to download the software and atlases all together. 1) “Adam” single-subject white matter atlas (old version): These are electronic versions of our atlases published in Wakana et al, Radiology, 230, 77-87 (2004) and “MRI Atlas of Human White Matter”, Elsevier. a. “Original Adam Atlas”: 256 x 256 x 55 (FOV = 246 x 246 mm / 2.2 mm slices) (The original matrix is 96x96x55 (2.2 mm isotropic) which is zerofilled to 256 x 256 b. “Re-sliced Adam Atlas”: 246 x 246 x 121 (1 mm isotropic) c. “Talairach Adam”: 246 x 246 x 121 (1 mm isotropic) 2) New “Eve” single-subject white matter atlas: This is a new version of our single-subject white matter atlas with comprehensive white matter parcellation. a. MNI coordinate: 181 x 217 x 181 (1 mm isotropic) b. Talairach coordinate: 181 x 217 x 181 (1 mm isotropic) 3) Group-averaged atlases: 4) ICBM Group-averaged atlases: This atlas was created from ICBM database. Please visit http://www.loni.ucla.edu/Atlases/Atlas_Detail.jsp?atlas_id=15for download. **Important Notice:** In the past, there was confusion about the lateral orientation (right and left) of our templates. JHU atlases as well as all our software follow the Radiology convention, meaning image's right is subject's left. On the other hand, the ICBM-152 based averaged map was following Neurology convention (image's right is subject's right). In the current version, all templates provided in our website follow Radiology convention. You may need to flip right and left when you use image registration software that follows the Neurology convention.
